The following is a portion of a letter written by Mario Moreno:

 

My name is Mario Javier Mareno Chavez, I am 32 years of age. I was baptized 17 years ago and have been preaching the pure gospel of Christ for 16 years. I belong to the church that meets in the locality of San Benito, Managua, Nicaragua.

 

My desire is to continue preaching the gospel full time but I don’t have any financial support at the present time.

 

I would like to know if you could support me so that I could continue dedicating myself to the preaching of the gospel.

 

I work with the church that meets in San Benito. This is located about 45 kilometers from where I live. In this congregation there are 28 faithful brethren worshipping together. We meet on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. I have been working for 5 years with this congregation but traveling the 45 kilometers is difficult without support.

 

Recently, I have also started working with a work that is just beginning. It is located in a city called Chichigalpa which is 125 kilometers from where I live. There are two brethren who meet there and together we are proclaiming the gospel in that place.

 

I am a single man with no children. It would be a great help if you could aid me in this work. I could labor in the work without any problems with 400 dollars per month support.
